When it rains

When it rains

 it sprinkles,

 it drips,

 it soaks,

 it rushes

and it saturates sheep eating grass out of the paddock.

It pours down on all the clothes hanging out to dry on the washing line.

I make rain when I sweat on the basketball court  playing  my games hard out.

water fun day

On Wednesday afternoon we had a water fun swim. The thing I did first was  the long black water slide on my back the first time and then I went on my tummy.

Then I moved on to the blue tunnel slide and sir called, “Go” so we didn't land on anyone getting off the yellow mat at the end of the slide and people called,  “Ouch!” Every time someone went down. After That me and my friend  Elena were having a water fight in the pool and every time we  hit someone we would say “Sorry” but sometimes they would squirt back. Then when Elena got out of the pool I asked Ed, Larell, Jacob and Edmon, “Can I play piggy in the middle with yous?” They said “Yes” I was mostly in the middle with Edmon.

The last activity that I did was the blue tunnel slide and Sir said, “This is the last person to go.” and that person was me and I faced the planet on the yellow mat. When the girls were getting changed into their clothes I forgot to get my shorts in my bag.

Reflection:

I loved playing in the pool because me and Lucy swam around.

I didn't really like the long black slide because if you went off the side you would hurt yourself.

I can't wait to do it next year.

Vertical agorithim

this week I have been working on Vertical algorithm.

The thing I found that i found hardest was trying to learn how to do

Vertical algorithm.

Place value partitioning

This  term I have been working on place value partitioning.

The thing that I enjoyed most was learning easier  ways to do maths.

tsunami warning

WALT: Write A NarrativeTsunami Warning Friday 5.3.21

Last Friday When I arrived at school it was just a normal day until Mrs Jujnovich told us to grab our bags and head to the hall. When we sat down in the hall Mrs  Jujnovich told us that there was a tsunami alert and everyone had to go to higher ground. Then we crossed the road to the hill. There was a silver gate that everyone had to climb over even the teachers, you wouldn't want to imagine

When I got higher and higher there started to be more and more gorse. We stopped for a break while Wheae Deb and two boys went to look for a higher place to go. They found a better place to go to. After we got up higher  ground. I saw  our school. It was like our school was a school for ants; it was that tiny. As we were up on the hill Grace's mum arrived with her baby brother Sam and her two  little brothers who are twins. I saw  Chase lying down with his head in his school  bag.

While we were up on the hill me, Kaydee, Lucy and Grace were doing each other's hair. I did Kaydee`s hair, Kaydee did mine, Lucy did Grace`s hair and Grace did Lucy`s hair.

We moved down to lower ground so we could set up the gazebos. I could see our school was a lot bigger from when we were up on the hill.  After we got down to the gazebos I could smell the sizzling sausages. I felt like going over and eating them but the other kids had to eat some.

We stood down by the gazebos for about nearly an hour and then we walked the path out to the road near our school.  My mum was waiting with my little dog Stig and Nan, my big dog.  Nearly everyone in my class came to pat Stig and Nan.  Then I went home with my mum and my sister and everyone else went back to school.
